The textbook consists of five parts that reflect theoretical and practical issues on oil and gas reserves calculation. Mineral reserves and resources classification is presented as also its role in oil and gas reserves calculation. Methods for reserves calculation and resources assessment are described. The main features for calculation and recalculation of reserves at various stages of deposit examination are highlighted, as well as the methodological aspects of reserves estimation by means of GIS. Processing of the report on economic-geological evaluation of oil and gas fields and its submission to State Commission of Ukraine on Mineral Resources was also considered.
