The monograph deals with genetic peculiarities of primary and secondary kaolin deposits in Ukraine. It described the geological structure of deposits and the kaolin quality in the main countries that produce this mineral; the geological structure of eluvial kaolin within the Ukrainian shield, which are connected with the weathering crust of Precambrian crystalline rocks; hydrother-mal metasomatic kaolin of the Berehivskyi kaolin region; the geological structure of secondary kaolin deposits, developed within the lowlands of Ukrainian shield and its slopes. Considered the main features of exploration and prospecting of kaolin deposits; direct exploration signs of primary kaolin presence in order to create databases and prospective maps of primary kaolin. It described technological processes of kaolin enrichment around the world (USA, UK, Czech Republic). It provided a feasibility study and economic feasibility of kaolin deposits development. It defined the prospects of development and exploration of kaolin deposits.
