National and International Classification Systems for Mineral Reserves and Resources: State and Harmonization Prospects

The monograph deals with retrospective and contemporary aspects of mineral reserves and resources classification. A detailed characteristic is presented concerning the classifications, which are used in separate countries (Ukraine, Russian Federation) and the international classifications, used by commercial organizations in order to develop common standards for banker books. The principles of comparison  and harmonization of major classifications are reviewed, as well as the principles of their harmonization with the Ukrainian Classification of Mineral Reserves and
Resources of the State Subsoil Fund are outlined.

The monograph is intended for geologists, mining engineers, specialists in economic
geology, mineral resources calculation and other specialties
